We’re delighted to support Under the Stars, a Sheffield-based charity using the power of music and the arts to uplift and include adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Our latest grant is helping them develop a truly exciting project, a live VJ (video jockey) performance created and performed by their participants using bespoke, accessible software they’ve helped design. This project is about more than visuals on a screen; it’s about inclusion, creativity, and giving quieter voices a powerful new way to express themselves.
With our support, Under the Stars will provide rehearsal time, one-to-one support, and the tools needed for their performers to take part in a unique event at Sidney & Matilda in Sheffield this July. Their visuals will enhance the live music experience and give audiences a truly immersive, multi-sensory show.
Sarah was a true advocate of this charity and believed in breaking down barriers and celebrating music’s ability to bring people together. We’re proud to carry her legacy forward through work like this, bold, joyful, and rooted in community.
We can’t wait to see it come to life.
