FESTIVAL NEWS: Tramlines Festival renames its Main Stage in memory of the late Festival Director, Sarah Nulty

Organisers of Tramlines have announced its main stage is to be renamed The Sarah Nulty Main Stage in honour of late festival director Sarah Nulty.

Sarah Nulty (pictured) died just three weeks before the 10th anniversary of the Sheffield event, which returned to Hillsborough Park July 2019 with headliners Two Door Cinema Club, Courteeners and Nile Rodgers & Chic.

Sarah Nulty was instrumental in the launch of the Sheffield city centre event in 2009 and took on the role of festival director six years ago.

Tramlines Festival organiser, Danielle Gigg said: “Sarah was the driving force behind the festival, so it felt completely fitting to rename the main stage in her honour and as a memorial for everything she’s done for us. This event also saw the return of the backstage Nulty’s Bar supported by Amplify Events who donate all the profit to The Sarah Nulty power of Music Foundation and BeMoreNulty merchandise, designed by Sheffield’s own artists Tom J Newell and Rebecca Vincent
